The girl’s body was found by her grandmother after her desperate attempts to find food led her to eat detergent. Her grandmother Irina believed her granddaughter to be okay after Maria had kept in touch with her through social media during the week she was left alone, according to The Sun.

It was only when she went round to celebrate her granddaughter’s third birthday that she found her body in a litter-strewn, cold apartment. The distraught grandmother, who had no idea her granddaughter had been left alone, called an ambulance but it was too late for little Kristina.

Heartbroken Irina said she could have cared for the child if only she knew. “She lied to me that everything was fine. She lied to everyone,” Irina told the court, according to The Sun. She said: “I never thought that Maria could do such a thing. If only I had had spotted something was wrong, I would have taken the girl to me.” Mom Maria has been detained for two months and is under investigation for the “murder of a child using extreme cruelty”, according to the Russian Investigative Committee, as reported by The Metro.

As he recalled the bizarre series of events, Daud claimed that he was told his babies were born on February 3, after which Laura was kept in the intensive care of the perinatal centre in southern Russia. Later, Laura recovered and was caring for their “healthy” babies on February 7 and 8. But by February 9, Daud was informed that their babies passed away due to cerebral hemorrhage, aneurysm. Because of the family’s religious beliefs, a postmortem was not performed and they began preparing for the funeral. Daud, mourning the loss of his babies, unwrapped the shrouds covering them only before their burial and couldn’t believe what he was looking at.

“Everyone was shocked… they were both just dolls. In disposable nappies, like real kids… After this we called the police,” Daud said. At first, Daud blamed the hospital and claimed, “my babies are alive.” He believed his sons may have become victims of a baby-selling or adoption racket, leading to a national scandal over abuse involving babies. In his account, the husband said he believed Laura was given two dead babies wrapped in “grave-clothes” before she left the hospital, but instead of giving them their “dead newborn twins,” Daud accused the hospital of giving them dolls, according to The Daily Mail. However, Daud discovered that the hospital could not have done anything to his newborn babies because he never had twin sons in the first place. His wife confessed that she was never pregnant and had been lying to Daud all along. 

Talking about why she did it, the wife said, as quoted by the Daily Mail, “I saw how happy my husband was when I told him that I was pregnant. I didn’t want to upset him and therefore decided to lie to him and to our relatives by faking the pregnancy.” “I didn’t have a clear plan,” the wife went on to say. “Sometimes I felt as if my tummy was growing, I felt as if I was pregnant. In January I went to have a look at babies’ cots. It’s hard to explain, from one hand I knew I wasn’t pregnant, but I couldn’t stop pretending.” To keep her lie going, Laura rented an apartment close to the maternity hospital before informing her family that her children were dead. She also bought two dolls to pass off as the bodies of the newborn twins and had them wearing disposable diapers like real babies. “Then (at the burial) my husband unmasked my lies by finding the dolls instead of the babies,” she added.

From the memories she has of her ninth birthday, Maureen remembers being r-ped for the first time by her brother, who continued abusing her since then. I thought he would look after me,” said Maureen, but she soon realized she was terribly mistaken as her stepfather began abusing her, too. “I hoped against hope that my mum might step in and help me. But she walked into my bedroom and called me a ‘little wh**e.'” By the age of 10, her mother also cruelly became part of the abuse. Maureen noted, “They used to make me sleep in their bed, between them, and they took it in turns to abuse me. My mum helped to get me ready for when my step-dad would r-pe me.” “It felt like the end of the world. With them all against me, I had nowhere to turn,” she added.

At the age of 13, Maureen became pregnant and her mother was mortified because she was concerned about what the neighbors would think. When Maureen gave birth to her son, Christopher, her maternal instinct kicked in immediately.  “I adored him with all of my heart and for the first time in my life, I felt what love was,” Maureen said. However, a month was all that she could spend with him before finding him dead in his cot. “When he died, I felt like my life had ended, my world had finished. He was the only person I truly loved,” Maureen said. “It was raining the day we buried him. I felt like the heavens were crying with me. I just wanted to die.” Although her mother and brother stopped abusing her after her son’s death, her stepfather continued until Mauren ran away from home at the age of 16. It was only after turning 37 when Mauren was finally ready to take her family to court. Back then, she was told that she would need her son’s body to prove her story.

“His DNA would prove that my brother was his father, and that I had been telling the truth,” Maureen said. And so, she had her son’s body dug up from his grave, and officials found the DNA samples to be a match. “It was almost as if Christopher was watching over me, helping my court case. He was – and still is – my guardian angel,” the mother added. The now 51-year-old woman and proud mother of five children saw her brother sentenced to two years in jail, her mother sentenced to nine years, and her stepfather sentenced to 16. Per reports, the 29-year-old farmer, Michael, and 16 of his cattle have died in a freak accident after a deadly dome of air formed in a farm’s manure holding tank. The farmer reportedly died of gas poisoning on his family’s farm after being overcome by fumes of either methane or sulfur oxide. Initially, 13 of the farm’s cattle died as well; later, three more expired, bringing the total to 16 cattle deaths. The farmer’s father, Bob, said that the tragedy was the result of a perfect storm of unusual and unexpected weather conditions. When the tank was prepped to be pumped, warm upper air temperatures trapped the gases in a dome of air which then poisoned Michael and the cattle.

Michael was reportedly found dead when other workers arrived to begin hauling manure away from the tank. “The family is devastated, absolutely devastated,” Coroner Scott said. He also said that gas poisoning deaths typically occur in closed areas, making the incident even more surprising. The coroner said that atmospheric pressure prevented the gases from dissipating. The coroner went on to say that an investigation is underway to determine exactly what caused Michael’s death. The unfortunate farmer had safely emptied the same tank hundreds of times prior to the fatal incident.

The victim’s family honored Michael by parking a line of tractors and machinery along the road that passes the farm. Among the vehicles parked are a blue tractor, several red trucks, and Michael’s black pickup truck. “As if there isn’t already enough danger in the lives of farmers, this family had to suffer this freak accident,” one Facebook user commented on the story. “So sad.” Following the tragic accident, many are calling for tougher regulations to be placed on manure holding tanks to prevent a similar incident in the future.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the dog arrived home moments before Charlee was found by local resident Wayne. The family of Charlee have hailed Penny the pitbull a hero after keeping watch over the missing two-year-old while they frantically searched for her. Charlee’s Grandmother Beth stated that she’s still amazed her granddaughter, who lives with her, is alive. “Whenever they told me that they had found Mo, Charlee, I was just outside of myself. I was just so happy,” she said.

Petting Penny, Beth stated, “This is our hero right here,” and added that she believes Penny remained by Charlee’s side the entire time she was missing. “When my dog didn’t come home, and my baby wasn’t home, she was not going to leave that baby until she got here,” she said of the pit bull. According to law enforcement officials, Penny made it home shortly before Charlee was found several hundred yards away, at a neighbor’s house. “I can’t even explain how happy that I am that this baby is home, because I love her more than anything in this world,” Beth said.

Wayne, who found Charlee, stated that he’d been on his couch praying for the little girl when he saw a blonde-haired girl in his backyard. The happy reunion hit Brown in more ways than one. “My little brother went missing,” he said. “He had wandered away from the home and he had climbed three fences. They found him miles away from the house. It was actually my uncle that found him and he was dead.” After finding Charlee, Wayne gave her water and called 911. However, he still has lingering questions “They’ve been everywhere. They’ve been all over this place, and how did they not find this child, and she just shows up where the search has been. How does that happen?” he asked. Charlee’s family stated that she was in the hospital, but she was doing okay.

She even told her husband, David, to join her and together, they began cuddling and speaking to the little one. “We were trying to entice him to stay. We explained his name and that he had a twin that he had to look out for and how hard we tried to have him,” Kate reportedly told Daily Mail.

The doctor who finally diagnosed the couple had recently seen a similar case with another international traveler. Still, their problems were far from over, according to The Post.

“I have dozens of worms in my feet, and so does Katie. It’s kind of sickening to think about,” Eddie said. “It’s pretty gross. It’s something living in your body that’s not supposed to be there.” Making matters worse, even once properly diagnosed, getting treatment wouldn’t be easy. “To top it all off, Health Canada denied our request to receive the medicine (ivermectin) we needed to treat our infection and (we) were forced to get medicine from the states,” Katie explained. During an interview with investigators, Henry denied having performed any se-ual acts on his daughter. The sickening case took a dramatic twist when Bennett, who had claimed police pressured him into a false confession, slipped up on the witness stand and repeated his confession in front of the jury. During the trial, the father said that his confession to the police was false. He told the jury that he only said it because the police pressured him into it and said that all the had to do was give the confession if he wanted to go home. In less than 30 minutes since the session began, the jury found Henry guilty on two charges of first-degree se-ual assault, two charges of se-ual abuse by a parent, guardian or custodian and two charges of i-cest.

He was sentenced to a term of 25 to 100 years in prison. Circuit Court Judge Swope denied the motion for a new trial, citing that the young child might be subjected to suffering later in life. The father told police that both incidents were accidents, after the child crawled into the bed while his wife was away in the bathroom. He claimed he mistook the 30-pound girl for his 185-pound wife both times. “It’s an absolutely unbelievable story, but these things do happen,” says Dr. Erica, a pediatric endocrinologist and professor of pediatrics. Lina represents an extreme case of a relatively common childhood condition called precocious puberty. Endocrinologists treat hormonal disorders, and pediatric endocrinologists like Eugster frequently see patients who are exhibiting outward signs of puberty. Because no one could understand the circumstances of the birth, the child’s mother did not even recognize the pregnancy despite Lina’s growing belly because it was just not something anyone had ever considered. 

Instead, the mother thought that the growing baby bump was a tumor or a cyst or something. But when the girl was taken to the pediatricians, they were stunned, horrified. The doctors were horrified that someone had impregnated the five-year-old girl. It was as if the man’s sins were meant to be exposed to the world. This horrible fact left few possible men who could have done such a thing to the little girl. And the primary suspect was the girl’s own father, a silversmith named Tiburelo. He was arrested on suspicion of child r-pe. However, Lina never admitted to authorities who the father was. She might have been too young to understand what had happened. And Tiburelo was eventually freed without enough evidence against him.

Lina’s son was named Gerardo, who took the name of the doctor who took care of the young mother. Because his family wanted to protect Gerardo from the truth, he spent his childhood thinking Lina was his big sister. This wasn’t far from the truth since she was only five at the time of his birth. Gerardo did one interview in 1955 and said that he hoped to be a doctor when he grew up. However, he died at the young age of 40 in 1979. Lina went on to live a normal life in Peru. She married a man named Raul and had a second child in 1972 at the age of 39.

I really think that everyone, including me, knows that bears go into hibernation during the winter, staying underground after eating where it is warm and comfortable. Bears often stay in hibernation for several months at a single time, but not a lot of people know exactly what staying underground in hibernation entails. Few people have managed to get close enough to a bear’s hibernation den to get a closer look at what these furry giants do when they hibernate. Recently, however, an intrepid explorer did just that.

A photographer recently found a bear’s hibernation den and decided to crawl in to get a better view on the space (SEE PHOTO). The retreat was relatively tiny, and the entrance itself seemed far too small for a bear to use. However, the size of the hole is made small on purpose, as it allows cold air to stay away from the space within. A closer look showed that the space was also purposely small. One bear could fit inside, staying in there for upwards of seven months.

The smaller size of the den makes it easier for temperatures to stay high.After the photographer took the shots, people estimated the dimensions in centimeters. The main chamber where the bear hibernates was found to be roughly three and a half feet by three feet. This is a relatively tight fit for a larger animal, but the bear does not need as much space to sleep in. From the smaller, tighter main fit to the tiny opening, heat retention is a definite goal when bears search for their hibernation dens.

The 17-year-old boy, Julio, reportedly come home, where he planned to have a pleasant dinner with his 24-year old girlfriend, who was not named. Ufortunately, during their dinner, the teen suffered a seizure. It was later determined that the cause of death was a bloot clot in the brain. When inquiring as to the events that had led up to the seizure, it was revealed that Julio’s girlfriend had given him a kiss on the neck, commonly known in romantic parlance as a “hickey”. Apparently,it was determined that the suction from the hickey was caused by deep, extended kissing on the jugular vein in the neck, according to The Sun.

This led to the blockage in the vein, resulting in a blot clot. The blood clot flowed to the brain where it caused the seizure, and subsequent stroke. While Julio’s girlfriend had called the emergency paramedics, they had unfortunately arrived too late to save him, as the young seventeen year old had already expired on the scene. The teen’s parents blame their late son’s girlfriend for this tragedy, citing that they had not approved of their relationship in the first place, as they had even asked their son to break up with her, being that she was seven years older than him.

It is not known at this time whether they are pressing charges against her. His moms and dads never ever authorized of the relationship, according to Hoy Estado de Mexico. The female was 7 years older than him and vanished after the incident. Julio’s parents were already upset over the relationship due to the age difference. Hickeys usually just cause blemishes to the skin and, occasionally, the reputation, but there have been reports of more serious physical damage.

During an interview with the head of a children’s advocacy organization, the little girl said when she would reject her grandfather’s se-ual advances, he would ‘lie on the couch and pout.’ ‘He’d wait to see if I could come out and look at him and feel sorry for him, but I wouldn’t,’ she said. To cover up the crime, the 11-year-old said her grandfather concocted a story for her to tell the children’s advocate about a 14-year-old boy who had gotten her pregnant at the county fair the summer before. However, medical staff noted that the term of the pregnancy and girl’s suggested date of conception were out by three months.

The girl later confirmed that her grandfather was the father of her baby. ‘Instead of him doing the wrong thing, he would come in and tell me what to say,’ the girl said. ‘He didn’t want to get caught.’ The girl’s younger sister has revealed that on several occasions, she awakened on her bunk bed and watched through a hole as her grandfather m0lested her big sister, according to the Daily Mail. The also told her biological mother that she witnessed her grandfather come into the girl’s bedroom and assault her sister with his hands and mouth. According to The Metro, the girl passed away after the government agreed to allow the teen to starve herself to death without legal intervention. Although numerous outlets have reported that Noa received legal euthanasia, the Dutch authorities took no action to bring about her death and merely agreed not to prevent her suicide, which does not legally qualify as euthanasia, The Metro reports. After years of fighting and fighting it is finished. After many conversations and assessments it was decided that I will be released because my suffering is unbearable,” Noa wrote. “It’s finished. I have not really been alive for so long, I survive, and not even that. I breathe but no longer live.” Disturbingly, Noa pointed to the exact reason she felt that suicide was the only answer. She explained that, despite the Netherlands’ renowned social services, there is no help for those suffering from mental disorders.

 “That’s crazy,” she told the local news outlet. “If you have a serious heart disease, you can undergo surgery within a few weeks. But if you become acutely mentally ill, then they say casually: unfortunately, we are full, just go on the waiting list. And, you have to know that one in ten anorexia patients in the Netherlands dies from the consequences of the eating disorder.” The teen wanted to die because of her long-term clinical depression, which is deeply disturbing since it is a temporary mental state that is entirely treatable and manageable. In short, the teen could have overcome this non-permanent mental affliction with proper support.  Instead, her government supported her suicide. Noa first requested euthanasia, which is legal in the Netherlands, when she was just 16. Initially, her parents objected to her suicide attempt, citing the indisputable facts that she hasn’t even mentally developed and that her afflictions are treatable, according to The Metro.

She wrote at the time, “They think I’m too young to die. They think I should complete the trauma treatment and that my brain must first be fully grown. That lasts until you are 21.” Because of her parents’ objection, Noa was denied euthanasia. However, just one year later, she was allowed to starve herself without being subjected to life-saving medical intervention. Under Dutch law, euthanasia can be granted for children as young as 12. However, her parents’ initial opposition prevented Noa from obtaining legal approval. Noa had attempted to die of starvation. She stopped eating and drinking, prompting hospitals to force feed her. Still, she persisted in the fight to take her own life. As her anorexia and depression worsened, she was left to fend for herself.

According to Lynde’s family, while the 45-year-old woman wasn’t technically brain dead, after a dozen days, it was time to face the probability that she wasn’t going to pull out of her coma. As a registered organ donor, the family decided to pull her off of life support and told the medical staff to get others lined up to receive transplants from their comatose loved one. As everyone said their final goodbyes and the plug was finally pulled, something dramatic happened. Completely unexpectedly, Lynde whispered 3 staggering words, “I am a fighter.”

Weeks later, the mother was back on her feet, hugging her family, and back in her home. “I don’t consider it a miracle but everybody else, that’s how they reference it,” Lynde told CBS News. Lynde also said that she could hear her family the whole time she was in the coma. “I remember everybody talking to me,” Lyndee explained in the CBS interview. “I remember when people came to visit, what conversations — I remember my niece reading to me.” She even remembers the doctors and family members discussing taking her off of life support. Although she was unable to speak or move, Lynde was desperately fighting, just as her husband had asked, The Mirror reported.

“Doctors told my family that I would start to make noises when they turned off life support. It was very agitating. I couldn’t move. I couldn’t talk, couldn’t respond. I could just hear everybody having conversations around me and about me,” Lynde said. “I remember a doctor opening my eyes, messing with me, and telling my family I was not reacting.” That’s when they finally pulled the plug. “In my head, it was very clear what I was saying, but it wasn’t to them. I was finally able to get out ‘I’m a fighter.’” Many of Lynde’s family members had already left the hospital when she was taken off life support. It wasn’t until the next day that her daughter, Amanda, returned to the hospital. “I looked at her, and she just says, ‘Hi,’ and I just fell to my knees,” Amanda remembered with a mix of joy and grief. “I told her, ‘I thought you had been gone for 12 hours.’” Lynde also encourages families to discuss, in detail, what end of life plans are like and what to do if a loved one is in a coma.

Per reports, the parents of newborn Corbet were amazed to discover that their baby was the largest newborn they had ever seen. They already had four children. They were ecstatic to learn they were expecting their fifth child. This is another blessing for them, as they did not expect to have a fifth kid. The baby’s mom, Chrisy, believed that this pregnancy would go as smoothly as possible for her because she has previously gone through it four times. And as the months went on, she became increasingly concerned that she was carrying twin babies. Her pregnant stomach was enormous that she began to wonder if she was expecting twins. They conducted an ultrasound in order to verify this, but the findings revealed that only one baby is present inside her huge belly.

According to the data, the doctors informed the experienced mother that her kid was a big one this time. Still, the brave mom didn’t worry since she felt nothing unusual other than her tummy being larger this time. The remainder of Chrisy’s pregnancy went without issue, and she had no difficulties. The baby was considered to require a C-section because of her size. The pregnancy proceeded as planned. But, while she was waiting for the doctors to deliver her kid, she could hear them shouting all around her. When they displayed the kid, she couldn’t believe what she saw.  When they rushed the newborn over to the scale to weigh her, she tipped the scales at an incredible 13 pounds and five ounces!

Chrisy told, “When they held her around the curtain for me I just couldn’t believe how big she was. I felt like I was looking at a toddler, I was like oh my God, she’s gonna walk to the nursery.” After the C-Section, the doctors announced that they had never seen a baby as big as her.  Because the baby is so enormous, the nurses were unable to locate newborn nappies that would fit her. They had no option but to go several sizes up in order to discover one that she could wear. It only took a few hours for Chrisy and her husband, Larry, to bring the baby home.

According to the court documents, the 21-year-old defendant was charged with r-ping a 5-year-old girl, he had the option to spare his young victim the anguish of facing him and giving evidence in court of the heinous abuse she had suffered. Of course, he pleaded not guilty, prompting the family to make the difficult decision to allow their little girl to testify, hoping that it would earn him an even harsher penalty. The defendant was found guilty of r-pe of a child under 13, which is a very serious crime especially for cases in which no plea deal is granted. Unfortunately for the victim and her family, all of their efforts returned void when they heard the judge’s sentence at the court, according to the Daily Mail.

The defendant was sentenced to just 3 years of community service and 35 days in a rehabilitation facility. He was also fined $268 and ordered to pay his victim’s family $3,350 in compensation. He is required to register as a s-x offender for only 5 years. Understandably, the victim’s mother broke down upon hearing the sentence. She said, “I ran out of the court and slammed the door behind me, as I walked out of the court I just shouted ‘it’s a joke’. I see no justice for my daughter in this.” The victim’s mother explained that her daughter is no longer the happy little girl she once was, but she added that her daughter summoned enough courage to relive her abuse in order to condemn her attacker. She said, “She’s been incredibly brave, she gave evidence at the trial and everything. I’m immensely proud of her.

She’s one of the bravest little girls I’ve ever met.” The mother admitted that the ordeal has destroyed her family. Despite family counseling and therapy for her young daughter, they are suffering from the aftermath of the child’s abuse. “We’ve had to have counseling, it’s ruined our lives. It separated me and my partner because we both didn’t know how to deal with it so we took it out on each other,” she said. “She will get over this but she will never forget it. It will always be there but she’s not the sort that is going to let it ruin her life. She still smiles every day and gets on with life. She does wet the bed but we’re going through counseling to try to sort that out. She has difficulties forming relationships with strange men in her life, obviously.” The only consolation the family has is that their daughter is so resilient. The brave little girl has expressed that she wants to give all the money from her compensation to the poor. Incredibly, the horrific attack hasn’t diminished her heart for others.
